The Building etc. (Amendment) (No. 2) (Wales) Regulations 2026
These Regulations amend the Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010 (as they apply in relation to Wales) to further implement the Building Safety Act 2022 in respect of higher-risk buildings, to enable local authorities to make charges in relation to certain applications made under the Building (Higher-Risk Buildings Procedures) (Wales) Regulations 2025. These Regulations also amend the following Regulations to correct minor and technical errors:The Building (Local Authority Charges) Regulations 2010 (as they apply in relation to Wales);The Building Regulations 2010 (as they apply in relation to Wales);The Building (Restricted Activities and Functions) (Wales) Regulations 2024;The Building (Registered Building Control Approvers etc.) (Wales) Regulations 2024;The Building etc. (Amendment) (No. 2) (Wales) Regulations 2025;The Building (Higher-Risk Buildings Procedures) (Wales) Regulations 2025.
