Waterlogged wood: guidelines on its recording, sampling, conservation and curation

Waterlogged sites are usually more complex and costly to investigate than dry sites, a fact that can often put pressure on archaeological curators, contractors and consultants. It is hoped that these guidelines will help archaeologists make the best possible decisions in the face of such pressures.
